About the Founder
Artscapes Academy was founded by artist Hemapriya Kalyankumar, whose vision was to create a nurturing space where creativity can grow naturally through structured learning and artistic exploration.
With over a decade of experience in painting and specialised expertise in Tanjore Art, Hemapriya brings together traditional artistic knowledge and contemporary teaching methods. Her approach focuses not only on developing technical skills but also on encouraging confidence, patience, and individual expression in every student.
Her teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that art education should inspire curiosity and creativity while building strong foundational skills. Through guided learning and personal mentorship, she aims to help students discover their unique artistic voice and develop a lifelong appreciation for art.
